Analysis of the results of application of the declared and traditional non-removable treading orthopedic constructions in patients without dental defect, having generalized periodontitis in the stabilization stage on the indicator of densitometry

Abstract

Topicality. Periodontal pathology occupies a large percentage among dental diseases, which prompts doctors of scientists and dental practitioners to more actively engage in this problem. Orthopedic intervention is very important in the functional restoration of the integrity of the dentition in patients without defects in the dental series with generalized periodontitis in the stabilization stage. For the treatment of generalized periodontitis from the side of the orthopedic component, the proposed interdental tire, which was used for orthopedic treatment of patients with this pathology, along with traditional ones.
Aim: clinically find out which of the tires used in the study are more physiological for the provoked periodontal disease in the area of their responsibility with the help of densitometry.
Materials and methods. This clinical trial was conducted in a group of 54 patients with generalized periodontitis, in the stage of stabilization. Previously, they were given a comprehensive treatment of generalized periodontitis. In the study group with a periodontal condition in the stage of stabilization there were 24 people – a group with the claimed exploratory tires. And the group with well known traditional tires – in the amount of 30 people in the group.
Results. During the study, it was found that after 18 months, the value of the densitometry index for patients without dental defects in the control group increased by an average of 25.3±1.1 %, and in the study group only 10.2±0.9 % (p < 0.001). During the entire period of research in the group without defects in the dentition, the dynamics of development of bone density decrease in the study group is more restrained in comparison with control. The improvement in the percentage ratio was 18.1±1.4 % for 18 months.
Conclusions. The performed studies in the groups of patients have shown an advantage in the use of new shinovyh constructions when applied with generalized periodontitis in the stabilization stage before the traditional breakdown by the indicator of the conducted densitometry.
