Resume. The article reflects the results of a survey of 160 patients who applied to the clinic for re-prosthetics. An analysis was made of the reasons that forced patients to re-visit an orthopedic dentist. The results of the analysis revealed the reasons that affect the timing of the use of artificial crowns and bridges in various combinations. Main reasons; incorrect choice of the number and topography of supporting teeth; incorrect assessment of the condition of the abutment teeth both in terms of the quality of endodontic treatment and the condition of the periodontium; low quality prosthetics in various parameters.
